Observation/Remark
- The world’s largest Chengal tree has been declared as a National Heritage and will continue to be developed as an eco-tourism destination gene bank (GRA – Genetic Resource Area) for the species.
- D. sarawakensis and Vatica sp. Nov. is still under investigation with FRIM’s collaboration on their taxonomic and conservation status. Compt. 31 of Jerangau FR has been set aside as GRA for the two

- Chemerong waterfall area is being developed as an eco-tourism destination
- The area around Gunung Mandi Angin will continue to host further scientific expeditions in the future as well as serve as a protection and conservation forest.

- This area serves well as a Flood control forest. More survey and research will need to be undertaken.

Mat Kilau is renown for his heroic fights against the British colonialists. His Fort in Pasir Raja FR has historical significance to local communities as well as at national level.
