KPKKT has been awarded and intrnationally recognized with a certification by the Forest of Stewardship Council (FSC) for fulfilling all the 9 principles contained in the FSC Principles on the 21st of April 2008.

FSC was satisfied and agreed to certify that KPKKT has achieved the following level:

1. KPKKT management system is capable and guaranteed of achieving the certification level required by “SCS Interim Standard” for Malaysia
2. KPKKT has also demonstrated that the prescribed management system that is currently being adopted by the management will continue to be practiced consistently throughout the audited contracted forest area.
