Ecotourism Destinations

1. The Chemerong waterfall area which constitutes part of Compt. 27 Pasir Raja PRF with the Dungun Timber Complex is currently being developed into an ecotourism destination. Work on the development of facilities with this areahas started since 2007, with boundary of Chemerong being marked on the map. Survey were done in the area to discover its flora and fauna, while regular patrolling and monitoring against encroachment, violation and pollution were conducted.

It is expected that by 2011, ecological and environmental profiles of Chemerong waterfall area and river regime should be successful constructed.
