KPKKT attended GIS Day 2025, organised by Esri Malaysia at UOA Business Park, Shah Alam, bringing together the national geospatial community to discuss the role of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) under the theme “Geo-Generalist: Where Spatial Meets Everything.”
KPKKT was represented by Tengku Aqilah Tengku Azman, GIS Executive, who presented the E-Balak system, highlighting the use of GIS technology to enhance transparency, operational monitoring, and effective forest resource management. The programme also featured technical sessions and discussions on current geospatial trends, reinforcing KPKKT’s commitment to advancing geospatial technology for efficient, data-driven, and sustainable resource management.
