Kumpulan Pengurusan Kayu Kayan Terengganu (KPKKT) organized a briefing on the new PERKESO Act on 24 May 2026 to provide employees with an overview of the 24-Hour Protection Scheme, which is scheduled to come into effect on 1 June 2026.
Delivered by representatives from PERKESO, the session covered key aspects of the scheme, including registration, contributions, enforcement, and the protection provided to employees. The briefing also enhanced participants’ understanding of the importance of social security coverage and the benefits available under the new scheme.
Through this initiative, KPKKT aims to increase employees’ awareness of the enhanced protection offered by PERKESO while reinforcing the organization’s commitment to safeguarding the welfare, safety, and overall well-being of its workforce.
