Golden Pharos Berhad (GPB), through its subsidiaries Kumpulan Pengurusan Kayu Kayan Terengganu (KPKKT) and GP Agroforestry Sdn. Bhd. (GPA), organised the Technical Coordination Meeting No. 1/2026 and Main Coordination Meeting No. 2/2026 with the Terengganu State Forestry Department (JPNT). The meetings served as a platform to coordinate and discuss matters related to forest management, including technical and operational issues, forest area development, licensed area preparation, harvesting management, certification compliance, and the implementation of the Commercial Forest Plantation Programme within Forest Reserves.
The outcomes of the technical discussions were subsequently presented at the Main Coordination Meeting for policy decisions, strategic coordination, and approval of follow-up actions. It is hoped that the strategic collaboration between Golden Pharos Berhad Group (Timber Industry) and the Terengganu State Forestry Department will continue to be strengthened towards ensuring sustainable, efficient, and responsible forest resource management in line with applicable legislation and international certification requirements.
